COVID-19 Information

UPDATE AS OF JUNE 26, 2020

GOVERNOR MURPHY HAS ISSUED A QUARANTINE ORDER FOR ANYONE TRAVELLING TO A KNOW COVID-19 HOT SPOT.  THESE AREAS ARE CURRENTLY DEFINED AS “ANY STATE WITH A POSITIVE TEST RATE HIGHER THAN 10 PER 10,000 RESIDENTS OVER A 7-DAY ROLLING AVERAGE OR A STATE WITH A 10% OR HIGHER POSITIVITY RATE OVER A 7-DAY ROLLING AVERAGE.” CURRENTLY THIS APPLIES TO ALABAMA, ARKANSAS, ARIZONA, FLORIDA, NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, UTAH AND TEXAS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE).  ANYONE WHO HAS TRAVELED TO THESE AREAS WILL BE REQUIRED TO POSTPONE ANY APPOINTMENT WITH US FOR A MINIMUM OF TWO WEEKS.

Our goal is to get every patient seen as soon as possible but as SAFELY as possible.  We will not be seeing as many patients as we have in the past and appointment times will be spread out to allow us time for our enhanced infection control procedures.

There are a few things you need to know before you come in for your appointment:

  1. The safety of our team and our patients is our #1 priority.  You will see our team attired in PPE different than before.  We will be following CDC and OSHA guidelines by the book.

  2. Physical distancing guidelines will be maintained at all times.

  3. Our tooth brushing station will be closed.  Please brush your teeth prior to your appointment.

  4. Our waiting room is closed including all coffee makers, video games, and magazines.

  5. We will be using a curb side waiting room. Please text us when you arrive to the office and we will text you when we are ready for you to come in.

  6. Face coverings are required at all times.

  7. Once inside you will be met by a screener who will take your temperature and ask you a few health history questions.  Anyone deemed to be unsafe will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

  8. Only one parent or guardian is allowed to accompany a patient under the age of 18.  All siblings, spouses, and other family members will not be permitted in the office.

  9. Bring something warm to wear.  Because our team will be wearing so much PPE, the office will be kept cold.

We look forward to seeing you soon.  In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!!!
